Reverse Engineering.
At CAD Innovation Ltd, our Reverse Engineering services are designed to meet a wide range of needs. Whether you’re looking to modernize outdated components, re-engineer products without existing CAD data, or improve design efficiency, we deliver precise, tailored solutions. We extract detailed 3D models from physical objects, integrating any available data we can gain, or you can provide to ensure accurate reproduction and enhanced performance.
You may need a simple part modeling and drawings for efficient communication with manufacturers, whether for building stock or integrating components into your products and designs. Or perhaps you require manufacturing support for urgent equipment or machinery repairs. If you’ve CAD drawings for critical parts, you’re one significant step closer to a quick solution in times of need when maybe time isn’t on your side.
In more complex scenarios, you may have incomplete assembly drawings, leaving gaps in the design. We specialize in “filling in the blanks,” using our CAD expertise to model and draw missing components.
As a final proofing step, we can digitally simulate the movements and interactions between components to test functionality before production.
Partner with CAD Innovation Ltd to unlock innovative design solutions and accelerate your development process. Let’s bring your ideas to life!

This example is interesting as it shows another very significant advantage of our CAD modelling and development service.
If you click the image to download the full drawing set, the last page (page 48) shows a checking jig we constructed on the digital model we created. This exactly replicates the profile and all the mounting positions that fits to the unit it assembles on to on site. So this plate can be taken to site and actually trial fitted before any of the main unit is manufactured. A huge cost saving if there was to have been an issue with the design or dimensions in being able to "trial fit at small scale" before any manufacturing on the main unit is even started.
